Lecture: A Non-Finn looks at history not his own.
Mark Munger
Artist statement: Beginning in 2000, I’ve been researching and writing about the Finnish immigrant experience to North America. Both my trilogy and my short stories have received rave reviews and acclaim. I have appeared at many Finnish festivals in the US and Canada as a featured speaker and panelist and recently conducted a Zoom lecture for the Finnish American Society of Milwaukee, talking about my work as a non-Finn writing about Finns.
