The Devil Bear is an adventure thriller about Captain Epsom and Borno his tame gorilla and ship's mascot. Directed by Louis Chaudet and produced by Sargeson V. Halstead of Thunder Bay Films. It was released in 1929 and is an example of attempts at early film production in Canada.
